La Negra Dance Festival 2026 in Calpe
The La Negra Dance Festival 2026 combines two dance competitions with a multi-day festival program in Calpe: the 15th La Negra Salsa World Freestyle Championship and the 5th La Negra Bachata World Championship. Workshops, shows, and parties are also scheduled from October 22 to 26. The organizer is La Negra Salsa.
Competitions and Festival Program
The two championships have different focuses: the salsa competition centers on freestyle, while bachata has its own competition. The event therefore offers a reason to attend both for those primarily interested in competitions and for guests drawn by the other festival activities.
The workshops cater to different skill levels and cover a range of dance styles. This makes the festival suitable not only for experienced dancers but also for people looking for a workshop that matches their abilities. Shows round out the program, and the parties continue into the early hours of the morning.
FullPass and Participation Terms
The FullPass costs 100 euros for the first 100 buyers; the regular FullPass is priced at 179 euros. An additional competition category costs 100 euros. Anyone wishing to compete in more than one category should factor this into their participation costs.
Cancellations are not accepted, but name changes are possible. Minors may participate if accompanied. The event address is Av. Juan Carlos I, 48, in Calpe.
