Advent Bachata Congress 2026 in Zagreb: Workshops, Competitions & Parties

4th Advent Bachata Congress 2026 in Zagreb

More than 20 Bachata workshops, an international Jack & Jill competition, and a Croatian Bachata competition are at the heart of the 4th Advent Bachata Congress 2026 in Zagreb. The program also includes shows, three nighttime parties, and two daytime socials. Dance school BachateaMe Zagreb is organizing the congress from December 11 to 14 at Hotel Diplomat.

Workshops, competitions, and shows

The workshops are aimed at attendees who primarily want to dance and learn at the congress. With more than 20 Bachata workshops, this part takes up a substantial share of the program. Those who want to watch competitions will find two different formats: an international Jack & Jill competition and a Croatian Bachata competition. Shows round out the program.

Socials and nighttime parties at the hotel

Alongside the workshops, the program includes two daytime socials and three nighttime parties. The listed DJs are Manuel Citro, Clau, Dia, and Rocco Loco. Outdoor Christmas celebrations are also part of the event. The congress thus combines daytime Bachata activities with evening parties and a Christmas-themed event outdoors.

Workshops, daytime socials, and nighttime parties take place at Hotel Diplomat. This brings the main dance activities together at one venue: Hotel Diplomat, Horvatova ulica 33b, 10000 Zagreb. The congress begins on Friday, December 11, 2026, at 12:00 and ends on Monday, December 14, at 5:00. Attendees planning to join the nighttime parties should therefore also allow for time after midnight.

Pass types and listed prices

Three pass types are listed for the 2026 edition, each with two prices. The Full Pass costs 144 € or 164 €, the Full Party Pass 104 € or 114 €, and the “Just” Party Pass 70 € or 80 €. The conditions for each price and the specific activities included with each pass are not stated. The pass names therefore do not provide reliable information about exactly what is included.

For Bachata dancers who want to combine workshops and socials at one event, the combination of more than 20 workshops and several opportunities to dance is particularly appealing. Those focused on competitions can plan around both the international Jack & Jill format and the Croatian Bachata competition. The three nighttime parties and the listed DJs offer another draw for attendees who mainly want to dance in the evening.
