Amsterdam World Dance Congress 2026: Bachata, Salsa, Workshops and Parties in Lijnden

Amsterdam World Dance Congress 2026 in Lijnden

Bachata and Salsa take center stage at the Amsterdam World Dance Congress 2026: workshops for different skill levels, four parties and a Jack and Jill competition make up the program. A main Bachata room and a separate Salsa-Mambo room are planned for the dance evenings. The congress is therefore aimed both at people who want to attend workshops and at those who mainly want to dance at the parties.

Workshops, competition and dance evenings

The Bachata and Salsa workshops cater to different experience levels. In addition to the classes, the Jack and Jill competition is a separate part of the program. The four parties are spread across the multi-day event; the two dance rooms give Bachata and Salsa-Mambo each their own space in the evening program.

Passes and venue

Three types of passes are listed for the 2026 edition, each with two displayed prices: the Full Pass costs 159 € or 139 €, the VIP Master Pass 205 € or 179 €, and the Social Pass 79 € or 74 €. The listing distinguishes between the passes but does not explain which price tier applies in each case.

The congress runs from Thursday, 15 October 2026, 19:00, to Monday, 19 October 2026, 03:00. The venue is the Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport in Lijnden. Free parking and a free airport shuttle are available for travel to the venue. Food and drinks are available on site. The congress is organized by the Bachata Romántica Dance Academy.
