Copenhagen Bachata Congress 2026 in Copenhagen
Alongside workshops and parties, a competition takes center stage at the Copenhagen Bachata Congress 2026: Saturday’s Bachata social dance competition is a European qualifier for the Bachata Social World Cup 2027. A Full Pass is required to enter the competition. Anyone who wants not only to dance Bachata in Copenhagen but also to compete should keep this in mind when choosing a ticket.
Workshops and Parties
Bachata House is organizing the congress from Friday, October 2, to Monday, October 5, 2026. It begins at 18:00 on Friday and ends at 02:00 on Monday. The program includes more than 30 hours of workshops, three parties and styling bootcamps. Workshops are scheduled from 11:00 to 19:00 on both Saturday and Sunday. These are the two full workshop days over the weekend, so anyone traveling primarily for the workshops can plan around those hours.
Saturday combines the workshop program with the Bachata social dance competition. This event is for people who want to compete in social dance and qualify for the Bachata Social World Cup 2027. The three parties provide opportunities to dance alongside the workshop program. Styling bootcamps are also available for participants who want to focus on that area.
Full Pass and Venue
Early-bird Full Passes cost 150 euros each for leaders and followers. A regular Full Pass for leaders costs 170 euros. The pass type is especially important for anyone interested in competing, as a Full Pass is required to enter the qualifying competition.
The venue is Enghavevej 82 B, 2450 København, in Copenhagen. Starting on Friday evening and ending in the early hours of Monday, the congress spans four calendar days. For visitors who want to attend the workshops on Saturday and Sunday, the 11:00 to 19:00 time slots are particularly relevant.
